Suitable applicants who are currently employed by Calvary Mater Newcastle, within the Hunter New England Local Health District OR NSW Health (ONLY) are encouraged to apply.

Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to assist in the Winter Flex Bed strategy. Suitable nurses will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Criteria:
Essential:
- Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated recent and extensive acute nursing experience.
- Ability to provide support, leadership and resources for the nursing team.
-Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work unsupervised and proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
- Commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary with the ability and desire to uphold these principles.

Desirable Criteria for Registered Nurses:
- Post Graduate Certificate or experience or interest in Acute Care.

Salary & Conditions:
In accordance with the Named NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Nurses Agreement, Registered Nurse, currently $28.60 (1st Year) to $40.17 (8th Year) per hour, depending on qualifications and years of service plus applicable loading and shift penalties.

- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Able to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
- Commitment to the philosophy, mission and values of Little Company of Mary Health Care as it applies to the Hospital and the ability and desire to uphold these principles.

- Post-Basic certificates and/or experience in a relevant specialty.

Salary & Conditions:
In accordance with the Named NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Nurses Agreement, Enrolled Nurse Medication Endorsed, currently $25.78 (1st Year) to $28.01 (5th Year) per hour. Depending on qualifications and years of service plus applicable loading and shift penalties.
